At first, you think it’s about the miles.
About the pace, the calories burned, that moment when you can share a screenshot on Insta.
But running quickly shows you—it’s just a façade.
A meeting with your breath
Running brings you back to a simple rhythm: inhale – step – exhale – step.
You can’t be anywhere else.
Everything that isn’t here and now falls off like a heavy coat on a hot day.
It’s not an escape.
It’s a meeting.
Moving meditation
At some point, the mind goes quiet.
The body does its thing, and you can finally… just be.
No plans, no to-do list, no questions like “Am I enough?”
There’s only rhythm.
Your heart, your legs, your breath.
And that strange feeling that right there—you are the most yourself.
The line you can’t fake
There comes a moment when you want to stop.
“I can’t do this. This is the end.”
But that’s the most beautiful moment of running.
Because that’s when you discover your body can do more than your mind dares to believe.
You cross the line.
And suddenly, you feel a strength you never knew was yours.
The moment I wait for
Now, running is the part of the day I look forward to.
I don’t set any expectations, I don’t chase times or distances.
Every run is simply about doing as much as I can in that moment.
And that’s enough.
Because in that “as much as I can,” I find freedom.
Running is not about running.
It’s about meeting the truth of who you are.
And that truth—even when it feels tough—gives you wings to fly.
