I’ve started looking at myself differently. Instead of punishing myself for every “mistake,” I now see them as lessons.
A lesson is gold. What used to hurt is now becoming the foundation of my change.
Every day I forgive myself. Every day I take the lessons.
And every day I learn that I do have a choice.
I used to think I had none.
That I had to react the way I was programmed.
Reactions came automatically – before I even had a chance to pause.
But now I know: I have a choice.
I can say “yes.” I can say “no.”
That is my free will.
All I need is a moment of stillness. A breath. A space to connect with myself and ask:
Do I want to repeat the old pattern, or do I want to choose differently?
That’s why I meditate. Meditation gives me this space between cause and reaction. Like stilness between inhale and exhale.
And it’s within this space that change begins.
Change itself is the moment when the scale starts tipping the other way.
On that scale are all the choices – every day, every week, every month.
When the sum of those choices shifts, change happens.
And it usually happens so quietly you don’t even notice… until someone else points it out.
Because it’s evolution, not revolution.
Every conscious choice, even the smallest one, tips the scale.
And with each choice, I stand more and more on my own side.
✨ My change begins with choice. ✨
